General Radiotelephone Master Control MC-1

Make

General Radiotelephone

Model

Master Control MC-1

Description

This is the first General Radiotelephone marketed. It looked much like the prototype, but the front panel was gold anodized and had simulated gold plated rack handles with a black wrinkle-plated cabinet (the gold plated rack handles had a tendency to flake off after a short period of time). It had a spot switch, 5 channels, volume control, s-meter with a 22 channel tunable receiver. (source: Bob Millum, WoodyWorld Newsletter 1995)
