Over the years that I have been involved in restoring old tube radios, I myself and many others have found themselves needing information (i.e., schematics, wire diagrams, general information, etc.) about some radio or another. There is a very limited number of resources for this type of information.

So I know how frustrating it is to try and resurrect an old radio without a schematic or some sort of documentation.

I hope this web site will grow and become a great depository for such information to help facilitate in carrying on not only this hobby, but also to help spark the interest of people young and old in this legacy known as OTR (Old Tube Radio)

A lot of effort has gone into the creation of this web site and I know I am not finished. I am looking forward to any and all input and information that anyone is willing to donate.

I would also like to thank the following people for their support:

Jim, SWL#1 – One of the driving forces behind OTR for many years. It was partly his idea to create this web site. Thanks for your input and support. Rest in Peace my friend.

Kevin, SWL#2 – Mr. Vacuum tube himself. Thanks for the technical info for the site!

Dennis, SWL#33 – Thanks for your friendship and support and of course being Net Control!

I would also like to thank all the SWLs out there for their input and support of O.T.R.

Thank you all,
Rob, SWL#3 “Lone Eagle”
