1921 – The company started as Radio Shack, was founded by brothers Theodore and Milton Deutschmann in Boston. Radio Shack, 46 Brattle Street, Boston, MA

1939 – Radio Shack issued its first catalog.

1954 – Radio Shack began selling it’s private label Realist, changing the brand name to Realistic after a lawsuit from Stereo Realist.

1959 – Radio Shack store moved to 730 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA 02215

1962 – Radio Shack acquired by Tandy Corporation.
