With over 67 fully synthesized channels and no need for crystals, the IC-230 brought unprecedented flexibility to mobile and base operations alike. Its super-compact design—just 2.28″ high, 6.14″ wide, and 9.72″ deep—made it one of the smallest rigs of its time, weighing only 5.5 pounds.
