Overview

The Cushcraft 124WB was a base station antenna designed for 11-meter CB radio operation. It was manufactured by Cushcraft Corporation during the height of the CB radio era and was intended for fixed-station communications use. The antenna used an aluminum vertical design intended to provide omnidirectional coverage for local and long-distance CB communications.

Physical Description

The Cushcraft 124WB used a vertical aluminum radiator assembly mounted to an outdoor mast or support structure. The antenna was designed for omnidirectional operation and was intended to provide improved transmit and receive performance compared to mobile installations.

History
