Overview

The Daiwa CS-201 is a two-position coaxial antenna switch used in amateur radio, CB radio, scanner, and general communications installations. It allows one radio to be switched between two antennas, or one antenna to be switched between two radios, depending on station layout.

Physical Description
The CS-201 is housed in a compact metal enclosure with a front rotary selector switch. The rear panel contains three SO-239 connectors for the common connection and two selectable antenna or radio ports. A rear flip-out bracket allows the unit to be mounted or positioned for station use.
History
The CS-201 was part of Daiwa’s line of station accessories for radio operators who needed reliable coax switching without repeatedly disconnecting feed lines. It was sold through amateur radio dealers and communications suppliers as a compact two-position switch for HF, VHF, CB, and scanner installations.
The CS-201 was later followed or supplemented by related Daiwa switch models, including the CS-201A and higher-position models such as the CS-401.
