The company is best known as the predecessor of Amprobe Instrument Corporation and for developing one of the first commercially successful clamp-on ammeters.

The company’s flagship product, the “Amprobe” inductive clamp meter, became so widely recognized among electricians and technicians that the company officially changed its name to Amprobe Instrument Corporation in 1960.
